We – actually I- have had a hectic Holy Week.  In the words of “Happy Gilmore”, ‘My fingers hurt.’ I played violin at the 2 hr Holy Thursday mass, 4 hrs at the Holy Saturday mass and played 2 seperate masses for Easter.

But, yet I am so not complaining.  I LOVE IT. My fingers hurt and no lie I believe I’m going to have an Arnold Schwarzenneger bow arm from all the bowing!  But I really love it.  Not only do I get to practice my violin most importantly I get to hear The Word many times. It’s actually very fulfilling.

During the beautiful Holy Saturday mass, 18 people were baptised.  The word of the mass was ‘AWESOME!”  Fr. Jimmy made the congregation yell it out many times.  It was actually pretty awesome.  He told a story of a boy who went to school and learned how Jesus had suffered and died on the cross.  He told the teacher, ‘that’s too bad, he was good.’  When the teacher told the class that after 3 days Jesus rose from the dead the boy yelled out, “Awesome!”.  It was awesome.  Happy Easter.
