Ok, this movie is a super oldie but goodie.  It stars Vincent Price when he was young. Early this morning I woke up to a bad dream and could not go back to sleep.  I was trying to watch my usual DIY network and got pulled into the AMC channel. 

Here’s the description: Mankiewicz’s directorial debut is a Gothic mystery set in a prototypical gloomy mansion. Price resents his wife because she has only given him a daughter and no son. Her lovely cousin comes to help take care of the wife and the daughter, and Price falls in love with her. He murders his wife and then proposes to the unsuspecting girl. She accepts, and a son is soon born and quickly dies. The local doctor discovers the truth about Price just as he is about to kill again.

What more can I say?  That’s old school entertainment!  And yes, it’s in black and white.
