Lina and I woke up early today and started watching Good Morning America.  They showed footage of Colo, short for Colombus.  She was born 50 years ago at the Colombus Zoo!  Colo is the first gorilla born in US captivity.  The footage of her is soooo cute!  Lina justs kept on saying, “Munkey” over and over again.

Above are photos of Colo when she was a baby and now.  What a regal looking gorilla.  She has since given birth to four generations of gorillas.  Way to go.  Happy 50th Colo!
