Super Simple Pesto Dipping Sauce

July 31st, 2006 by sandra

Along with our fruit dish and pasta, Ian made this super simple pesto dipping sauce that rivals any Pasta Pomodoro dipping sauce:

1/2 cup of EV Olive Oil

2 tsps of garlic pesto

1/2 tsp of course salt and crushed pepper

Pour the olive oil in a shallow bowl.  Either mix in the pesto or you can set the pesto on the side of the olive oil.  Lastly, sprinkle the salt and pepper to taste over the mix.  Done!  Goes superbly with warm sourdough bread!  How easy is that? This is a bread dipping sauce that is sure to impress and delight the taste buds!
